1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CitizenApp ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CitizenApp is a study and preparation tool for the Canadian citizenship test. The Service provides practice questions, mock tests, AI-powered tutoring, and study materials based on publicly available information from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the official study guide "Discover Canada."

3. Not Government Affiliated

CitizenApp is an independent, privately operated service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Government of Canada, or any government agency. The information provided is for study purposes only and should not be considered official government advice.

4. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use CitizenApp.

5. Subscription Plans & Payments

CitizenApp offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed as described on the pricing page. All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

• Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• Annual subscriptions renew automatically each year until cancelled.
• One-time purchases (Test Ready Pack, Pass Guarantee) do not renew.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Pass Guarantee Refund Policy

The Pass Guarantee ($29.99 CAD) includes a full refund if you fail the Canadian citizenship test, subject to the following conditions:

• You must have completed at least 14 days of study sessions before your test date
• You must have answered at least 200 questions total in the app
• You must have a test date recorded in the milestone tracker
• You must submit a refund request within 30 days of your test date
• Proof of test result may be requested

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in CitizenApp are the property of CitizenApp or its licensors. Study materials are based on publicly available government information. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without permission.

8. No Guarantee of Test Results

While CitizenApp is designed to help you prepare for the Canadian citizenship test, we do not guarantee that you will pass the test. Test results depend on many factors including your individual preparation, the specific questions asked, and test-day conditions. The "Pass Guarantee" product is a refund policy, not a promise of test results.

9. Limitation of Liability

CitizenApp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
